SecondImpressions is a dating and social connection app for adults aged 18 and over. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we use it, who helps us process it, and the choices you have.

We collect account information such as your email address, sign-in details and account status; profile information such as display name, date of birth, age, gender identity, orientation, dating intentions, interests, bio prompts and photos; approximate location information such as town, county, country and rounded distance; app activity such as likes, passes, SecondImpressions, matches, games, chats, settings and reports; payment entitlement information from Google Play and RevenueCat; device and notification information such as push tokens and basic diagnostics; and moderation or verification material you choose to submit.

We use this information to create and protect accounts, show relevant profiles, calculate mutual eligibility, run likes, SecondImpressions, games, matches and chat, process purchases and entitlements, send important notifications, review safety and moderation reports, prevent abuse, improve the app and meet legal obligations.

SecondImpressions is designed to show only approximate location information to other members, such as town or county and a rounded distance. Exact coordinates are not shown on your public profile.

Profile photographs and verification submissions may be reviewed to help keep the service safer and to reduce fake accounts. Verification material is used for safety and review purposes and is not intended to be displayed publicly.

Payments on Android are handled by Google Play. We use RevenueCat to help manage purchase status, entitlements and subscription access. We do not receive your full payment card details from Google Play.

The app may show ads, promotional offers or discounted offers. Advertising and analytics partners may process device identifiers, approximate location, app activity or diagnostics depending on your device settings and applicable law.

We use trusted providers to operate the app, including hosting, authentication, database, storage, email, push notifications, app builds, analytics, ads, in-app purchases and moderation tools. These providers process information only so the service can operate, be secured, improved and supported.

Your dating profile information is shared with other members as part of the app experience. We may also share information with service providers, where required by law, to protect users and the service, to investigate abuse, or as part of a business transfer. We do not sell your personal information.

You can edit many profile details in the app, hide your profile, adjust discovery settings, sign out, or request account deletion. You can also contact us to ask for access, correction, deletion or help with your privacy choices.

We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service, keep users safe, resolve disputes, meet legal obligations and enforce our terms. If you delete your account, personal content is scheduled for deletion subject to safety, legal and anti-abuse retention needs.

SecondImpressions is for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly allow children to use the app. If you believe someone under 18 is using the app, contact us so we can review it.

Your information may be processed in the United Kingdom or other countries where our service providers operate. We take steps designed to protect personal information in line with applicable privacy laws.
